| Believe it or not the opportunities for youth in the American Red Cross of Southwest Texas are almost endless. With the Youth Department being brand new, the youth will be developing the activities involved for the Youth Department. Suggestions have included hosting a State Youth Conference for American Red Cross, Youth Volunteers providing HIV/AIDS training for the schools, Youth Becoming Health & Safety instructors, and Providing Disaster Preparedness Education to the community.
