Welcome to American Red Cross of Southwest Texas the LARGEST Red Cross in the nation, geographically. American Red Cross of Southwest
Texas jurisduction includes Andrews, Brewster, Crane, Crockett, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Irion, Jeff Davis, Loving, Martin, Midland, Midtchell, Pecos, Presidio, Reagan, Reeves, Scury, Sterling, Terrell, Upton, Ward and Winkler counties, over 43,000 square miles of territory.
Volunteers are the key to insure that Red Cross can provide all assistance to the residents of these twenty-six counties. Twenty-four hours a day there is either Red Cross Volunters or Paid Staff available to assist with emergency needs in Southwest Texas. We need more volunteers to insure of this. For example, we would like to have at least ten personnel trained for a disaster

response in each county, but for this to happen we need at least six persons to be willing to attend the training for disaster, which is free. As we depend on the community to provide the funds for our organization, we also depend on the community to contribute the time needed to furnish the services to your neighbors in their time of need.
